About Hypothetic
Hypothetic, founded in 2021 and based in Los Angeles, builds generative AI and machine learning tools that make 3D work faster and more collaborative for the games and 3D art industry.
The challenge
What needed solving
Creating and finding 3D assets is one of the slowest parts of game development. Hypothetic set out to change that with tools that use AI to simplify and speed up asset creation.
The first goal was an asset gallery with efficient tagging, collections and AI-driven search - built to cut the time and effort game developers spend finding and generating complex 3D models.

A dedicated 2C squad joined Hypothetic’s core team and worked as part of it, not alongside it. We built the infrastructure behind the asset gallery, integrated AI-driven search, and designed the tagging and collections system - embedding these features into the 3D tools game developers already use.
