About Triton Partners

Triton is a European investment firm focused on the mid-market, with a strong emphasis on operational improvement. Founded in 1997, it has raised more than €25 billion and made around 600 investments across Business Services, Industrial Technology and Healthcare.

The challenge

What needed solving

Triton’s investor data covers a lot of ground: investor details, ownership and control, screening, exemptions, reviews, investments and tax. It lives in the firm’s underlying systems, and different teams need it for different jobs - a full profile, a risk review, a check on politically exposed persons (PEPs), the history of a declined investor.

Triton needed one structured, searchable place to find, review and maintain all of it.

Same data, different questions. Every team gets the view that answers theirs.

The solution

What we built

2C is responsible for the application layer of Investor Master: the interface through which Triton’s teams reach investor data, connected to the firm’s own data services through APIs.

On top of a single investor record, we built a focused view for each kind of work - with validation wherever data is entered, so records follow the same rules however they’re created.

01

Investor Master dashboard

Every investor at a glance - risk rating, AML status, investor status and the date of the next due-diligence review - searchable, filterable and sortable.

02

Structured investor records

An edit mode organised into Investor & Ownership, Exemptions & Screening, Reviews & Investments, Tax and TTL Data.

03

Review dashboard

Investors from a risk-review angle: due dates, reasons, last reviewer and approval status, with assignments and Apex information managed in place.

04

PEP register

A dedicated view of politically exposed persons: who they are, why they’re listed, their country of association and the funds involved.

05

Declined and withdrawn investors

What was retained, when the last contact was and why - with the decline or withdraw action started from the master or risk dashboard.

06

Create Pipeline Investor

A validated form for new investor records - grouping, details, review and comments - that follows the same rules as the edit mode.

The result

What changed

  • Complex investor records that are easier to navigate

  • Focused workspaces for risk reviews, PEP checks and declined investors

  • New investors entering through one validated flow

  • A consistent, centralised view of Triton’s investor data
