What needed solving
Buying a product shouldn’t mean guessing what’s in it. The goal was a mobile app that makes product scanning fast and reliable, shows allergens at a glance, and takes users from the scan to a QR code for payment - simplifying the whole purchase.
For someone with an allergy, information at a glance isn’t a nice extra. It’s the point.

Three 2C developers built the app, front end and back end. Every scan is checked against the product database: any allergens are flagged on screen, alongside the price and quantity.
